Sheryl Crow – “Mrs. Major Tom” (from William Shatner’s Seeking Major Tom)

William Shatner’s double-disc, “space-themed” covers album, Seeking Major Tom, arrives this coming Tuesday, October 11th via Celopatra. On it, our favorite Star Trek captain turned Priceline pitchman gives his trademark spoken word treatment to classic, intergalactic anthems from the likes of David Bowie, U2, Queen, Pink Floyd, The Police, and more. 15. I sang the original of this song back in 2003, so awesome to hear Sheryl Crow singing it! Check out the original version of “Mrs Major Tom” by K.I.A. on the album “DXLR8” (on iTunes, Amazon, etc.)

  16. She has an amazing voice. Can’t get past the toilet paper thing, so I guess I would simply admire her talent, not shake her hand.
